Editorial and corrections policy

Changing career, borrowing for a car or buying a taxi licence are big decisions. So we say where our information comes from, who stands behind it and what happens when something is wrong.

Responsibility

Content and calculations are the responsibility of Radif Partners. Contact: contact@taxinoir.fr.

Primary sources only

No rule is taken from a training centre, a blog or a forum. We read:

  • Légifrance: the Transport Code, orders, decrees, collective agreements;
  • service-public.gouv.fr: official procedure pages, with their review date;
  • the chambers of trades (CMA): exam rules and fees;
  • Urssaf and the tax authorities: contributions, thresholds, VAT;
  • the VTC register run by the transport ministry.

Platforms and brands

About a booking platform or dispatcher, we publish only what it has published itself or what a public source says, cited and dated, with no unsourced negative claim. Brand names belong to their owners.

Earnings

Any earnings figure is a calculator estimate based on the visitor’s own assumptions and official rates. We publish no average income without a sourced public figure.

Tests before release

Urssaf’s published minimum and maximum contributions, VAT thresholds, vehicle criteria and the exam marking scheme are replayed at every build. Any discrepancy blocks the release.

Update cycle

A full review at least every 12 months, and with every new text. The date shown on pages comes from the parameter file.

Handling errors

  1. Check against the primary source.
  2. Fix the data or code, add a test.
  3. New date on the page; a significant correction is flagged on the page itself.

Independence

We sell no contacts and receive no payment from training centres, insurers, rental firms or platforms. Any such relationship would be stated in the text.
